Day 1: Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai

Breakfast. Pick up from your hotel in Chiang Mai City (pick up from outer Chiang Mai hotels or airport will be subject to supplement charges) to visit the elephant training camp to see the elephants at work (no ride included, optional service) before we continue north to Thaton. Thai set lunch en route at a local restaurant in Thaton. After lunch, we board long-tail boat for an exiting 3-hours long-tail boat to Chiang Rai, where en route, we pass along the way visit the local villages of Muser and Karen hill tribe descendants along the banks of the Mae kok River. Late afternoon arrival at the Chiang Rai boat landing from where it is only a short transfer to your chosen hotel. No dinner included in the package. Overnight at the hotel. (L)

Day 2: Chiang Rai

Breakfast. Early morning transfer from hotel to visit the local villages of Yao and Akha hill tribe descendants and continue to Mae Sai, a small trading town. Then proceed to visit the exact spot where Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet, called "The Golden Triangle?. Lunch at Imperial Golden Triangle Resort, after lunch visit Chiang Saen ancient city and continue to the Doi Mae Salong area, home of a variety of hill tribe villages like the Akha and Yao. No dinner included. Overnight at the hotel.(B, L)

Day 3: Chiang Rai to Bangkok

Breakfast. In the morning make a city and temple tour of Chiang Rai. Lunch at the restaurant, then transfer to Chiang Rai Airport. (Drop off Chiang Rai Airport (If drop off outer Chiang Rai airport will be subject to supplement charges)..(B, L)

Note: Travelers wishing to return to Chiang Mai must return by road, as there are no flights between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. This additional transfer is to be charged as per our tariffs.
