The trip was great!!!
I traveled from Seattle to Beijing to Bangkok back to Seattle. I scheduled 1 tour to the Great Wall while in China. I was a bit apprehensive because there was absolutely no communication with the tour people before I left on the trip so I had no idea of what/who to contact to double check to make sure that it went off without a hitch. The Tour person contacted me at my hotel in Beijing to work out a time to pick me up at my hotel. It was GREAT - I felt like the Emperor himself!!!
THe Hotel was great also - I chose it for its location and it did not disapoint!
Foolish of me BUT I did not arrange for a transfer from the Hotel at either city - VERY FOOLISH of me!!! Will not repeat that mistake!!!
THe Hotel in Bangkok was a mistake!!! I choose it based on price and location (close to the sky-train) BUT it was a residence establishment were people staying in town for a long time would stay. The level was about at the Motel 6. This was totally my fault that I will not repeat!
THe trip was a total BLAST!!!
See ya next year!!! I am looking at Egypt!
