Nadi (pronounced "Nandi") is located on the western side of Viti Levu, Fiji's largest island. Nadi International Airport is Fiji's main global gateway and a transit point for other destinations throughout the archipelago.

Most visitors use Nadi as a stopover to acclimatize and make the most of the city's infrastructure before heading out to more picturesque locales. However, there are a handful of interesting landmarks, the most popular being Sri Suva Subramaniya Swami Temple. Set against volcanic hills and mountains, this magnificently colorful sanctuary is a testimony to Fiji's large Hindu population.

Nadi's northern horizon is dominated by the Nausori Highlands, located at two thousand feet above sea level. Small remote Fijian villages are scattered amongst these forested hills and provide a glimpse into traditional ways of life. Nestled in the highlands, the Garden of the Sleeping Giant consists of 50 acres of lush flora overlooking white sandy beaches.

Your visit to Nadi can be customized with a myriad of exciting destinations throughout Fiji such as Lautoka, Sigatoka and Mamanuca Islands. Many travelers also include New Zealand and Australia in their itineraries.
